Your Reality Report uses a few specific words and labels. Here is what each one means, with examples.
An estimate Bricklight used because the exact number was not provided. Assumptions are always labeled. You can edit them and rerun the report.
HOA fees were estimated at $250/month because none were entered.
A prompt to ask your inspector, agent, or seller. It comes from photo notes, repair concerns, or patterns in the data. Copy it into an email or checklist.
Ask inspector: Is the visible staining near the downspout active or old?
The report could not fully complete because some inputs were missing or conflicting. Correct the flagged items and rerun.
The listing price and your entered price differ by more than 10%.
An item that should be verified with an official source before it influences your decision. The report tells you which source to contact.
Confirm school district boundaries with the district office, as listings can be outdated.
Security, data sources, and limits
How the service is secured.

- SOC 2 Type II attestation completed March 2025. Scope: data privacy and availability for the production environment.
- Encryption
- AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
- PII retention
- Purged 12 months after account inactivity unless the user exports the report to a permanent archive.
- RBAC roles
- Admin, Agent, Buyer, Viewer.
- MFA
- Enforced for Agent/Admin accounts through Auth0.
Human authority and AI data handling
Bricklight performs no automatic offer submission, document signing, or purchase decisioning. A human must finalize a Reality Report before PDF export.
Client-specific financial inputs are stripped of PII before prompt-tuning. Raw buyer data is not fed into public LLM training sets.
